I have been paddling and fishing since the age of ten. The water, canoes then kayaks made much of my time of my youth some of the most memorable. After moving to Florida in my early twenties, I took to inshore fishing from kayaks and canoes. During my early years paddling I had the benefit of learning from some local experts who are ACA certified instructors.
Although I am a paddler first, fishing has been always a part of what I do. It is these experiences I wish to pass on to you, the client. There were many tournaments entered and many more to come. I have placed first and second in many that I have participated in.
I am in the process of completing two books on the subject of kayak fishing and fly fishing from paddle craft.
During my paddling career, I managed a shop part time in Homossa Springs and have worked in the industry for over 10 years. This brings a lot of first hand experience with many different types and syles of paddle craft.
Currently I reside in the Boca Grande area with my Fiance' Michele.
